Together We Find Balance.

Currently, there are limited options available for individuals who experience sudden loss of hearing and/or balance, particularly due to inner ear dysfunction. Our charter is to establish a database (databank) for auditory and vestibular function creating new approaches to restore hearing and balance.

Volunteer Program

Our volunteer program is for anyone who is excited about improving and protecting their hearing and balance. We welcome individuals to participate who have normal hearing and vestibular function as well as those who have experienced any loss of hearing and/or balance.

Doctor Referral

We are joining the efforts of healthcare providers in several states to increase the accessibility of testing and participation in this database to provide a new resource for inner ear health.

What We Do

MountainEar Foundation is working with clinicians and scientists by developing a resource for functional studies of the human inner ear.

Our Story

The MountainEar Foundation was established in 2020 to focus on the unique cells and physiology of the human inner ear. Functional studies of the inner ear pose unique challenges due to anatomy and location. We are excited to develop a resource that will generate new capabilities to examine the inner ear.

Ongoing Causes

We are committed to increasing awareness and health of inner ear organs.
